Belarus Intends to Develop Inbound Tourism

In the next five years 605 objects of infrastructure for the development of inbound tourism will be built in Belarus. The statement about it was made by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Kosinets. In particular, the creation of roadside service, spa, center of agro-eco-tourism and hunting are planning. According to Kosintsa, today Belarus is developing a strong structure of tourist’sbranch, including 28 tourism zones. Each region is incarnating its own program of development of tourism: cultural, educational, environmental, religious, agro-tourism and other, Belarusian news write.

Recently, in Belarus special attention is given to the development of rural tourism that attracts not only locals but also foreign visitors. According to experts, the number of rural estates growing with every year, and today their number is about 100, while in 2006 there were only 70. A wide variety of services propose for tourists: you can learn how to fish, weave baskets from the vines, ride, gather berries and mushrooms. In addition, local history tours, educational tours, original entertainment are organized for the holiday-makers.
