Lukashenko: Military cooperation of Russia and Belarus should become as example for civil departments of two countries
All arrangements with Russia in military sphere will be strictly observed by the Belarus management. It was declared on April, 21st by the president of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting with the Minister of Defence of Russia Anatoly Serdjukov.
As Alexander Lukashenko’s press-service informs the Belarus president told that does not see problems in cooperation sphere between departments “in the field of defence of our Motherland”. As he said, interaction of Ministries of Defence of Russia and Belarus can be a good example for civil departments.” Moreover, I would like that we have gone further and look forward in our military and military-technical cooperation, in respect of co-production of any defensive systems, and also actively involved a science in our workings out “, - noted Lukashenko.
He also declared that there is time for preparation of the report for the document on creation of uniform system of air defence which has been accepted on February, 3rd.
Alexander Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Russian side for cooperation. In turn, the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Anatoly Serdjukov declared that interaction in military sphere promotes development of army forces of two countries.
